Another Rousing Success for Wells Fargo Walk of Ages IX
Thanks to all our sponsors, the many walkers/runners and to our contributors for a job well done! Your tireless efforts have helped the Wells Fargo Walk of Ages IX raise the much-needed funds for the residents of the Jewish Home. We still have an opportunity to exceed our goal by collecting any outstanding pledges and even ask for new ones! You can let your friends and families know that it's not too late to sponsor you for the Walk. The deadline for collecting these important contributions is December 31, 2008.
Congratulations to The Executives/Young Executives (a support group of the Jewish Home) whose team won the first place trophy by raising $31,658. Congratulations also to Wells Fargo whose team raised over $11,000 and won the first place trophy for a team unaffiliated with a support group for the third year in a row! In addition, Wells Fargo had 134 participants - the largest team in this year's walk. And the third top fundraising trophy went to the CEJE Confirmation Class, a team not affiliated with a support group or a corporation, which raised $3,789.
We also want to congratulate Denne Goldstein for being the top fundraiser by rising over $18,000. Our 2nd place fundraiser is Doug Christian who rose over $8,000; 3rd place went to Randy Banchik who raised nearly $5,000, and 4th place to Mary Akpovi with $3,000. Thank you one and all for your stupendous efforts on behalf of all the residents.
A great big Thank You to all of our sponsors, donors, participants and volunteers! The Home is fortunate to have so many good friends.
