Welcome to Walk of Ages X

RUN, WALK OR STROLL FOR THE Jewish Home

Thanks to all of our sponsors, contributors, volunteers the many walkers/runners for a job well done! Your tireless efforts helped the Walk of Ages X raise much-needed funds for the residents of the Jewish Home. We still have an opportunity to exceed our goal by collecting any outstanding pledges and even asking for new ones! Let your friends and families know that it's not too late to sponsor you for the Walk. The deadline for collecting these important contributions is December 31, 2009.

For the second time in the history of the Walk of Ages, two teams have tied for the first place trophy, each raising $21,460. Congratulations go to The Executives/Young Executives and to the Associates-IMC support groups of the Jewish Home. Congratulations also to Wells Fargo, whose team raised over $10,000 and won the first place trophy for a team unaffiliated with a support group for the fifth year in a row! In addition, Wells Fargo had 150 participants - the largest team in this year's walk. The second largest team in the Walk was The Guardians with 75 participants. Way to go! Recognition also goes to the CEJE Confirmation Class, a team not affiliated with a support group or a corporation, who raised $3,757. Acknowledgement goes to our new teams, ValleyCrest, Fountainview, DRYC, and Multicultural Learning Center. To all our teams, old and new, we look forward to your participation next year.

We also want to congratulate Denne Goldstein for being the top fundraiser by raising over $14,000. Our 2nd place fundraiser was Robin Rose, who raised over $5,000 and walked with her family in honor of her mother, resident Ruth Long Pearson. 3rd place went to Randy Banchik, who raised nearly $4,000. Thank you one and all for your stupendous efforts on behalf of all the residents.

The Home is fortunate to have so many good friends.
